Monroe County VINE Registration Link
Mississippi's Registration Link is a distinctive protection against a common error. It can carry a VINE registration from a county-level record into MDOC or "other custody." If a person disappears from the county source after transfer, the linked registration can continue with the receiving record. That change should not be described as community release.
Use the link as continuity, then verify both ends. The Monroe County jail-docket entry should name the event and receiving agency when available. An MDOC transfer should lead to an MDOC number, location, unit, sentences, and tentative date. A transfer to another county or other authority requires that custodian's record. VINE helps connect the notice path, while each agency retains its own official file.
Registration Link is especially useful because Monroe County publishes no official live web roster. There is no county online list from which a disappearance can be timed. The sheriff-maintained jail docket remains the local event record, and VINE remains a status and notification service.

Monroe County Records Beyond VINE
Not every post-release record belongs in VINE. The Mississippi Sex Offender Registry is a separate public system limited to people with qualifying registration duties.
